Black was about the only thing common with these two very different looks that Sayani served up recently.

The look in black Esha Sethi Thirani sari (while at a wedding cocktail soiree in Mumbai) isn’t something entirely unexpected on her. Between the two, I was instantly drawn to the more casual outing in denims, basic tee and oversized blazer. It’s easy and laid-back while still looking put together, and Sayani wears the separates with so much ease! It made for a welcome change of pace.

Of Gowns

Both of these lovely ladies picked blue-toned velvet gowns for their recent outings. Like one look more over the other?

Lehenga Ladies

For recent wedding festivities in Mumbai, both Sanya and Mithila picked lehengas to wear. While the former went all-glam in her bronze/gold-toned lehenga for the cocktail do, the latter kept things simple in her printed lehenga for the daytime ceremony at the gurdwara.

They both looked nice but I do wish Sanya had saved the outfit for another occasion- the lehenga seemed a bit much for the cocktail do.

Stars And Stripes

Rasika gave us some serious (and welcome) bit of color at the recent cocktail do. Metallic sandals and gold jhumkis rounded out the actor’s look well. She looked nice, and dare I add, event appropriate.

Sari Style

Wearing saris, both Amrita and Mouni attended Guneet and Sunny’s pre-wedding party. Of the two looks, I preferred Amrita’s more. I would’ve swapped the embellished white bag with something else but minus that, she looked lovely. Personally, Mouni’s sari (and blouse) just isn’t my cup of tea.
