In Gopi Vaid
At the Taurani Diwali party, Raashi was seen in a Gopi Vaid lehenga paired and while the lehenga was too blingy for my taste, she looked lovely in it. The finishing touches here helped.

Wearing what seemed like a Gopi Vaid sari, Vidya attended the unveiling of her song from her upcoming movie. The song which has Madhuri performing Kathak and Vidya performing Bharatnatyam is probably why Ms. Balan also sported the hair pins denoting the sun (surya) and moon (chandra) that is also worn as part of the Bharatnatyam costume in addition to a full head traditional maang tikka (nethi chutti).
While I like the idea of wearing the head pieces, to me, the classic traditional jewellery clashed with the georgette sari. I would’ve loved this more if she’d worn a classic south silk and gotten rid of the maang tikka.
Update: Turns out she performed at the event and that explains the jewellery but the georgette material just felt wrong.

Raveena wore a cream kurta set from Gopi Vaid to Karwa Chauth festivities at the Kapoor household. The red and cream is a classic combo but somehow here the addition of that color of dupatta made the look dated.

Vidya was seen at Diwali parties on Saturday wearing a purple georgette sari from Gopi Vaid feauturing an embroidered blouse. She looked lovely in it but it also looks like she draped the sari inside out. If you look closely, there is embroidery on the other side of the border and the silver side that we see is the lining to support it.
Update: Looks like the lining is a banarasi pattern so she did wear it the right way.

Wearing a Gopi Vaid lehenga, Tamannaah attended the T-Series Diwali party on Saturday evening. The color was so lovely but that choli design and the snug fit, ugh.
