Mallika attended the amfAR gala wearing a lavender colored Georges Hobeika gown. A Hobeika the gown may have been, but between that sheer neckline and the embroidery, the gown itself looked rather tacktastic. Not helping was that poofy ponytail do that did not do Ms. Sherawat any favors either.
Oh Ms. Sherawat, just when you were having a good run, why did you have to go mess it up.

The 69th Cannes Film Festival kicked off today in France and making an appearance on day one was festival regular Mallika Sherawat. At the screening of Cafe Society, Ms. Sherawat was seen in a strapless Georges Hobeika gown paired with diamond jewellery from Dessange.
I can’t say am a fan of the gown, especially the all-over striped pattern, but have to admit, Mallika did look nice. An updo would’ve been a better choice given the necklace and gown but am just glad to see her opt for more polished looks than outfits that were worn more for the shock factor.

Wearing a Spring 2016 Georges Hobeika dress and pink pumps, Alia attended the HT Most Stylish Awards. Because of the pink belt, the dress felt too tween-ish to me and even the sleek hairdo didn’t help elevate that.
Swapping the belt with a non-rhinestone one and adding a funkier pair of sandals would’ve worked better here, me thinks.

While in the capital for her soon to be released movie’s promotions, Nimrat was photographed in a Georges Hobeika coat-dress. A top knot and black platform pumps finished out the actor’s look. The coat didn’t quite work for me, and by the looks of it, neither did it for Ms. Kaur. Let’s file this sighting under ‘Not Quite’.
