Something about this look seems to have instantly aged Genelia beyond her years. Perhaps its the print or the colors. Or that hair. Either way, the girl who usually gives us ‘fierce’, gave us ‘flat’! Its not bad at all, just strictly okay.

Genelia performed at the Pantaloon Femina Miss India contest and before her performance was spotted in a maroon sari which we thought she looked great in.
Our only peeve was the leather belt. If she was going for a ‘kamar bandh’ look, a leather belt really wasn’t the best accessory to start with. We wished she had just gone without it, what about you?

Sunday afternoon saw both Genelia and Isha attending the Neeta Lulla show in blue dresses.
While Genelia looked cute in her blue number that she paired with white ankle-straps, Isha’s waist details just brought back bad memories of Farah from the night before. Her dress was such a mess. This is the second time Isha is wearing an edgy strappy sandal with a dress, but all those edgy sandals won’t do any good when the main ensemble piece (read: dress) is dowdy to begin with.

After walking the runway for Manish Malhotra in the afternoon (which is a few posts below), Genelia attended Anand Kabra’s show later in the evening wearing one of his creations from the Spring 2009 collection.
Whether she forgot to wear any jewellery or was asked by Manish not to wear any (for his show earlier) is up for guesses. But, I have to say, a few chunky bangles would have looked great with this floral maxi.
