Ms. D’Souza has really kept it interesting this awards weekend. First, the Nachiket without highlights, then the Peacock with highlights and for the final night, it was a Gaurav Gupta gown minus highlights again. (Unless, am blind and they are hidden.)

I love Gaurav Gupta designs but in this case there is no love for the gown. Love the front but not the frilly back. (Anybody else being reminded of Godzilla’s spine?)

Update: I take back everything I just said. She looks fabulous in these new pics (below!)

I can’t quite figure this one out. Did Genelia just get a major hair makeover overnight because her hair seems way more highlighted from the night before. Either ways, as much as much as I want to like this Peacock dress on her, the hair is isn’t quite working for me. (Not a fan of two-toned hair anymore…)

Genelia picked a Spring 2010 Nachiket Barve dress with an asymmetric hemline (she does seem to favor those). This collection had amazing gowns and dresses (see here) and we are glad to see someone finally wear something from it.

Except, wish she had tied the hair back to show the neckline and worn some other pair of sandals. (I just don’t like such sandals.)

It’s a rare event when Ameesha turns out to be the better dressed of the lot and this event is one. Too bad, we don’t quite have a really high bar for travel style. But, after looking at Kangna, we do need to set a minimum level!

I get the compression socks (for the long duration flights) but wow, what a hotch-potch of an outfit!

It wasn’t a surprise to see Genelia in a Nisshk dress, after all the actress is a big fan of both Neeta and Nishka. For KJo’s bash, she wore a dress from the young designer’s latest collection. The dress may not be our cup of tea (we’d prefer it minus the floral patch) but for a summer night, it works and matches Genelia’s persona.
