Sonali and Gayatri attended a wedding recently going traditional in their choice of saris but adding a touch of modern by way of their blouses and clutch picks. (Sonali is carrying a Stella McCartney and Gayartri, a Leiber.)

They both looked great!

P.S. I believe Sonali is in a cottom Jamdani and Gayatri is in a silk Paithani. Do correct me if I am wrong. 🙂

At the Charcoal Project collection preview, Gayatri did separates wearing a white blouse with a printed Helmut Lang skirt with ankle-strap silver sandals and a fringe clutch finishing out her look.

While she looked great, we wouldn’t mind if now and then Ms. Joshi tried something different with her hair. Even a sleek ponytail would be a welcome change.

A pop-up store at The White Window saw Gayatri in a denim look with a fringe Ralph Lauren bag providing a bit of visual interest.

Shilpa celebrated her son Viaan’s second birthday by throwing a big bash that was attended be several folks, one of them being Gayatri. She accompanied her sons to the party wearing a yellow Dolce & Gabba floral top paired with white pants and tan slipons and a tan bag (Hermès?).

One to keep things mostly understated (on these pages anyway), Gayatri gave us bit of a start by picking this particular Sabyasachi. The sheer, ombré sari may not personally be our cup of tea but she did look nice… Even if it did seem a bit much for a calendar launch!
