Wearing a classic black peplum gown by Gauri And Nainika, Preity walked the green carpet this evening. An updo in place, she rounded out her look with a pair of dramatic diamond earrings.

The look may not stop you in your tracks but it is old school, and it’s effective. It worked for Preity in any case; she looked good.

At the Times NRI Awards on Tuesday evening which she hosted, Sophie opted for a white gown by Gauri and Nainika featuring contrasting black lace on the neck and waist. Hair worn down, her look was finished out with jewellery from Farah Khan Fine Jewellery.
