At Aaradhya’s birthday party on Saturday evening, Aishwarya was seen in a Gauri and Nainika gown and her daughter in a custom Manish Malhotra dress and Sophia Webster butterfly sandals.
At first glance, between the color and the shiny lining, the gown isn’t a favorite but I think the point was to match with her daughter for the party and as a Mom, I get it.
Question for you is, what is the silliest outfit you’ve worn to your kid’s birthday to match the party theme. 😉

That is an awful dress. This can be excused only if her 6 year old chose that outfit for Aishwarya.
She just needs an excuse to dress like a princess. Daughter’s birthday, Cannes.
Right! Only in this case it looks like cheap Halloween costume.
As a mother i can understand the little girl dessing up as a princess .. but not the mother. Not in that shiny costumy eyesore.
I find this hairstyle rather harsh and unflattering on Ashwarya. The makeup ages her too. Such a beautiful woman

It’s a cute princess gown and Aishwarya looks great, except that I lip color…a soft pink, mauve would have worked instead. And how cute is Aradhya.!
Why the eff does she dress like that?! middle parting, red lips and some tent! why can’t someone so gorgeous be a bit contemporary ?! it upsets me as an admirer of gorgeousness !
Payal, I appreciate your kindness but matching your daughter’s outfit is no excuse for this princess costume! She could’ve matched the theme more gracefully. This gown looks like a tacky outfit prepared for the mohalla ka beauty pageant. With her looks and money, Aishwarya should not be seen in such attire.
TRUE. She has so much potential and still chooses to look so ordinary. I stay in Rajouri Garden Delhi and that’s a hub for clothing and I bet you will find many moms dress up much better and happening without having a designer label on their clothes. This dress should be thrown in bin and forgotten :-(. Such blingy material with those crazy flowers even a 10year old won’t choose that kind of dress.
Only the material is bad and very uncharacteristic of G&N dress. Bt y so much hate?
its more like concern. she’s so dead beautiful.. and her dressing is completely the opposite. i mean she can wear the least expensive or simple outfits and like millions.. but this is what comes off her? i mean.. no and howwww.

Omg those huge flower things are horrendous. Any designer with a little better imagination could’ve done the princess theme in a less gaudy , awful way .
I just don’t get why, with EVERYTHING at her disposal, should she want to be seen like this in public. That gown is an eyesore. Even if she wanted to match with her kid, there were a million ways to do so w/o choosing a tackfest outfit like this. She needs to change up hairstyle too – same old same old ALL the time except at Cannes.
Also, how is Ash in a gown and Abhishek in jeans and a shirt? C’monnn! Put in an effort to at least be coordinated as a couple. Sheesh!

The theme was aaradhya s enchanted meadow…n so the flowers.

This was a dress she had worn at Arradhya”s bday party last year – which was a princess theme. This year was more casual so she had a denim dress

Who dresses like this to your own daughter’s birthday!! Not only is that outfit super tacky, it seems like Aishwarya is also disconnected with reality. Mums don’t dress like that for their children’s’ birthdays. They put on a pair of denims or a simple dress so you can be comfortable both as a parent and a host. Most little girls parties are around a princess theme these days but I have never seen a mum wear an outfit like that.
I’m not a Disney princess person so my personal bias is definitely at play here-no to both the mother and daughter in pink Disney princess outfits.
The red lip is totally unnecessary.
I have seen pics of “others” who came in to this party. No one dressed up like Aish did. This outfit is hideous! her hair and make up are just plain wrong. I want to see a more at ease look that I seldom see from her.
The dress is awful and doesn’t even go with the funfair themed party they threw for Aaradhya!
I think everyone needs to relax. It’s her kid’s birthday party. She’s dressed to impress her daughter and not any of you and if I were her kid I’d be thrilled
