While most ladies did traditional silk saris at this reception, Divya went offbeat wearing a Gaurav Gupta fusion sari from the designer’s couture collection. Sporting the burgundy outfit with a sleek middle-parted hair do, her look was finished out with an Annika Rucci clutch and jewellery from Om Jewellers.

In the past, we’ve seen Divya falter when it came to her make-up. No such issues here though. She looked fantastic. Now, the sheer element of the skirt may not be everyone’s cup of tea but for me it wasn’t a deal breaker. Was it for you?

Jacqueline also opted for white at the Star Guild Awards wearing a lace Gaurav Gupta couture piece. Wearing her hair half up/half down, she finished out the look with jewellery from Gehna.

While I appreciate her picking something offbeat, can’t say am a fan of the gown. The sheer panel at the thighs was just too odd to like. Am not a fan.

Divya picked a Gaurav Gupta Couture gown for recently held wedding reception. Wearing her hair back, she finished out the look with a pair of dangling earrings and red-toned lip. It may not be our favorite look but, it’s no mean feat to wear this gown without being entirely overwhelmed and Divya sure managed that… Props! That said, between the foundation issues and the fact that Divya isn’t really selling us the look, this one’s a strictly ‘Not Quite’.

Interestingly enough, we spotted another guest at the reception wearing a nearly identical gown. Wonder if they ran into each other and how they really felt when they saw the other! 😉

Ms. Padukone sure saved the best for last really knocking it out off the ballpark in her Gaurav Gupta couture gown. Opting for a minimalist look, skipped on any color on the face and went with simple Dior earrings letting the gown be the absolute highlight of the look.

She look ah-mazing!

Wearing Gaurav Gupta Couture, Monica attended the Elle Beauty Awards wearing the blue one-shouldered gown with one earrings and an updo.

While she wears the gown with a lot of sass, the low bun (now that we’re seeing a side pic of it) felt a bit dated.
A sleeker updo and would have been an outright love. As is, we’re giving this a 8/10.
