Jacqueline attended IIFA main awards night wearing a sari inspired creation by Falguni and Shane Peacock. I liked that she wore her hair up but can’t say that I care for the sari-gown itself. Perhaps a sleeveless blouse would’ve balanced things out better.

For the IIFA Rocks event, both Waluscha and Lara opted for sparkly gowns. While the former picked a warm-toned Falguni and Shane Peacock number, the latter picked a cooler-toned gown by Dolly J. Both ladies rounded out their looks with wavy hair and matching sandals.

Both Madhuri and Sonali sported cape-style shoulder details with the former sporting an exaggerated sleeve and the latter, full-length fringe off the shoulders. It’s a different look for both of them and makes for an interesting change of pace.

I think both Madhuri and Sonali would’ve benefited from sleeker hair dos, especially Sonali. That said though, they make their looks work for them.

If I had to pick one, it’d have to be Madhuri’s look in Manish Malhotra (even though I deeply dislike that style of sleeve, personally speaking). Sonali’s Falguni Shane Peacock looked sharp but given the fringe detail and the corset, did the pants really need that slit/flap opening? The suit came off looking over-designed, but to Sonali’s credit, and at the risk of sounding repetitive- she still made it work for her.

Wearing a sparkly Falguni and Shane Peacock mini, Parineeti attended Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash on Wednesday evening. Wish she’d worn pumps instead of those ankle-strap sandals. She looked nice, nevertheless.
