Wearing a Pucci gown, Mallika attended the Harmonist Cocktail party at Cannes on Monday evening. Can’t say am a fan of the gown itself, especially that jersey material black skirt but she looked nice.
Keeping the look simple helped.

At a recent event in Mumbai, we caught sight of Ms. Birla in an Emilio Pucci maxi. Wearing her hair back, she finished out the look with a bright lip and metallic clutch.
Not sure what it was about the event but it seems like most couldn’t escape excessively long clothes. Disregarding the pooling of fabric at her feet, she looked good. Could have something to do with the fact that this might be the most understated I’ve seen Avanti look in recent times, on these pages anyway. Besides, the summery maxi made for a welcome change from all that bling at the event.

Gauri Khan showed her Satya Paul collab collection at LFW on Friday and in attendance and lending her support was good friend Natasha.
As always, she kept it interesting by wearing a one-shouldered Pucci jumpsuit from the Fall 2014 collection. With its cutouts and peekaboo details, the jumpsuit showed off Ms. Poonawala’s fit bod and while I don’t mind the shell clutch pick, I did have an issue with that bracelet. Felt too tweenish.

A smokin’ Ms. Haydon graces the cover of Elle’s March edition wearing a printed Pucci maxi. Hawt!
On an aside, hope you now understand why we get so frustrated on seeing Ms. Haydon in boring black looks. 😛 I would love to see her rock a look like this in real life as well!

Giving her blue Pucci another outing was Mallika at the BSE Awards. You’ll remember seeing her in the blue lace gown at Cannes back in May (see here.
I don’t mind that she wore the gown again but the styling was a big letdown. That hair. Ugh.
