… as wearing a Sari bad? There must be because Miss Afghanistan, Vida Samaszai sure makes it seem that way! Now, we totally do appreciate her for wearing a Sari, don’t see too many of those anymore, but its just the way she wears them… too much of sexuality and not enough of grace.

I think our favorite non-Indian to wear a Sari continues to be Liz Hurley, only cause she does it with so much ease, grace and poise!

This particular Dolce and Gabbana dress has been quite a favorite among the starlets all over…Kareena has it in black, have spotted Jessica Alba in it… And now, spotted Haseena Jethmalani wearing the dress in red on the cover of Savvy’s april issue, a dress that we also spotted on Elizabeth Hurley way back…

For a dress that was part of Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2007 ready to wear, it refuses to die down… (in seasons of Fashion, thats so long ago!!)

Seeing Pink!

Elizabeth Hurley wore a beautiful blush ombre sari at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hottest Pink Party Ever 2008 and gotta say she definitely is one of the very few non-Indian women to wear a sari so gracefully!

Note how similar it is to the sari that Katrina wore to the race premiere, the same work and the same ombre effect except, I prefer Liz’s blush version over Kaif’s hot pink!

I must say, I was inspired to do this post after reading this rediff post. It got me intrigued after reading it, as to how many times Mrs Nayar been sporting the look.

I must say, after the first few times, the woman has mastered the art of carrying the pallu stylishly!
