In Elie Saab

Shalini attended the BOF cocktail/dinner event wearing a jewelled Elie Saab gown with a top handle Dolce & Gabbana bag. The gown is nice but the thin choker neckpiece, the diamond necklace and another pendant neckpiece that got lost in the gown felt overkill. But, then Ms. Passi’s style is such so I don’t think we are ever gonna see her change that.

Family Talk

Ananya attended a round table talk on Tuesday wearing a backless halter top and matching colored pants set from Ura finished out with red heels. The outfit looked nice from the front, but for a day event, the top being backless was a bit much.

In other news, the rest of the Panday family was at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris for Rysa’s debut. She wore Elie Saab to the event. Bhavana and Chunky were in Rahul Mishra. You’ll remember Ananya also participated in Le Bal back in 2017. Catch pics of her wearing Jean Paul Gaultier inside.

In Elie Saab

Alia attended the trailer launch of an upcoming series that she executive produced wearing an ombre pant suit from Elie Saab with white platform sandals. She looked good!

It ain’t her first Elie pant suit though, she wore a white one from the same Resort 2024 season to a leadership summit last year wearing it just about the same way.

In Elie Saab Couture

At the NMACC event, Priyanka was seen in an Elie Saab strapless gown and ruffle cape from the label’s Fall Winter 2022 Couture collection. A Saab and a couture one at that this gown may be, but wearing this particular sheer one to this event was completely inappropriate. In pics, the gown looked so tacktastic.

Given this was such a high-profile event in India, why not pick an Indian designer? Ms. Chopra favors the Peacocks, so why not wear something by them?
