Golden Girls

We think it was pure coincidence that both the Poonawala ladies gave us golden looks on the same night at two different events. Michele was spotted at Bridal Week in a one-shouldered Halston Heritage lamé gown that she paired with a gold Dior clutch.

Natasha wore a sequin Dolce & Gabbana column gown at the Hello Hall Of Fame Awards pairing it with a black clutch to match the black trim on her gown.

We aren’t fans of lamé but Michele sure made it work without looking ridiculous. As for Natasha, the gown is amazing but the voluminous hair was too much for the look.

It’s rare that at the same film festival, two personalities wear the same dress. Rarer when the personalities are associated to the same film. We don’t know who (stylist/loaner) screwed up but Freida who stars in Miral and Rula (the writer of Miral) were spotted wearing the same Dolce & Gabbana lace dress just one day apart!

Major screw up aside, who do you like more?

As much as I loved the way this dress was presented on the Fall runway, off of it, it’s been one big dud. Seen first on Deepika on the cover of a magazine, couldn’t help but think the omitted bow-tie killed the charm of the dress just a tad. And now having seen it on Ms. Poonawala, am convinced either the dress needs to be worn as shown or not at all.

A beautiful Monikangana is Grazia’s November cover girl. Love it. Now if only, the head hadn’t been so abruptly chopped off at the top.

Loved the Dolce and Gabbana on Bhavna that she paired with a BV Knot and Loboutin slingbacks. Love.

As for Mr. Pandey, my first reaction was ‘cleans up nice, doesn’t he?’… That was until we paid attention to those trousers. Oh boy, it’s so off! And he was so close to being pronounced “Dapper” too! 🙂
