It was a crop top and midi skirt from Ash Haute Couture for Divya while at the Anmol Jewellers show held in Mumbai last night. The filmmaker wore her separates with ankle-strap sandals and picking up on the lip motif, added a Lulu Guinness clutch to complete her look. Cute!

It was a Sabyasachi maxi for Divya while at the designer’s presentation. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with silver earrings from FabIndia and a Bottega Veneta clutch.

A gown, a sari and a lehenga, Divya donned different looks at Tulsi and Hitesh’s wedding festivities but frankly, we can’t say we were fans of any. All her looks just felt so excessive. A wee bit of editing and we probably would’ve had different results. Out of the three, the sari look was the more striking one but it also felt rather filmy with the messy side-swept hair and gajra.
The one that we liked the least was the gown appearance. Between the curls and the necklace worn as a headband, she looked more like a kid playing dress up.

After her over the top sartorial choices at a recent family wedding, Divya’s appearance last night came as a breath of fresh air. The draped, grecian Shehlaa gown (paired with Amrapali earrings and rings from Anmol and Gehna) worked well on her; she looked lovely.

Divya attended GIMA wearing a Tanieya Khanuja gown with hoops from Isharya and a clutch by Annika Rucci. Given that it was a music awards, I appreciate Divya for going an edgier route and picking an offbeat gown. But, while I can look past that odd bodice, I just can’t get myself to like those sheer sleeves which had no place on the gown.
I give Divya props for effort but in this case, the gown itself failed her.
