Divya attended GIMA wearing a Tanieya Khanuja gown with hoops from Isharya and a clutch by Annika Rucci. Given that it was a music awards, I appreciate Divya for going an edgier route and picking an offbeat gown. But, while I can look past that odd bodice, I just can’t get myself to like those sheer sleeves which had no place on the gown.
I give Divya props for effort but in this case, the gown itself failed her.

This is awful. Looks so amateurish. I mean the dress, not the lady!
The bodice looks like a bunch of grosgrain straps stitched on at strategic locations. Baaaaad! Went back in your archives for this Taniya lady, and barring one, I didn’t like a single other design. People pay her for her designs?!
Sleeves – Tragic!
God that gown is horrid. And DIvya isn’t helping it with her ‘deer caught in headlights’ expression that she always has.

That is one ugly dress and that hairstyle is horrible. She can do much better

I have said it before and say it again, clearly the designer has not heard of less is more. Most of her designs are a mish mash of elements. Why the sleeves? It could be okay without them.
No like :(( this outfit actually looks tacky – given its cut, style and color. Divya is a pretty girl but she likes such jhatak stuff … she could do so much better.
