The Good, The Bad, The Ugly: Doing Denim Edition

This one was a toughie, I wasn’t quite sure who to accord the tag ‘The Bad’ and ‘The Ugly’ to in this ‘Doing Denim’ edition between Soha and Tulip! While Tulip’s bare midriff (a pet peeve of mine) and all too severe shoes (weather-wise) were a turn-off, Soha’s visible (inner-wear) straps and short denims paired with those chunky boots were just as much of a turn off if not more!

Needless to say, Dia gets to wear ‘The Good’ tag in this edition!

When ’suki’ first mentioned that this prom-ish dress was a ‘French Connection’, we couldn’t feature it coz’ there wasn’t one to be found! Not any more though, there’s a bunch of em’ on eBay waiting to be bid on, that is if any of you like this dress. We didn’t.

The long beads are getting predictable on Dia but just can’t fault her previous look! As for Sheetal, well… its sooo beige! Both times! And all we can say for Tara is, awwww!! We only have love for ladies who are preggers! 🙂

Another look that is effective by keeping it simple!

But while Dia looks lovely, we do wish she’d depart from the pastels/neutrals/soft hues just for a bit and give us some major color! It’d be nice to see her in a non-pastel’y short dress and necklace combo just for a change!

Hey, we adore her, its just that we are hankering for some change, of the good sort! 🙂

Ditto!

The first time we spotted this Rocky S dress (on Dia), we thought it was rather dowdy and unflattering. Now that we see it on Sarah Jane, we like it even less. The crimped hair and tired make-up just didn’t help Sarah’s case either, it only made the dress look even worse.

Perhaps soft marcel waves as far as hair was concerned and a striking red lip color would have helped this dress channel some old Hollywood glamor. But as things are, we don’t like it on either of the ladies but do prefer it on Dia if we had to choose.
