Dia tried upping the ante at her movie Acid Factory’s preview by going glam and sexy in a Shantanu and Nikhil lil’ black number!
While there is nothing cringe-worthy about this outfit and it all works, it just falls a bit flat. Maybe because Dia has this old-world sweetness about her that softens anything thats even mildly edgy? Or because the outfit/look itself is just plain unexciting?? Who knows!?!!!
I know we’ve been longing for Dia to move past those breezy dresses, pastel’y palette and easy style that she usually favors… but this just lacks that ‘Pow’ doesn’t it?

At a promotional event of her upcoming film ‘Acid Factory’, Dia Mirza was spotted in a black version of this Shantanu-Nikhil dress first seen on Kareena in Harpers Bazaar India. Although, the Dia pic isn’t clear, concept-wise, am digging the white version more since it has a more Greek toga feel to it. Which version do you prefer more?

Dia features in the latest issue of Marie Claire India wearing a green Roberto Cavalli on the cover. She also wears the same blue Cue dress that we JUST saw on Lisa Ray (see here ). ( Guess, the stylist wasn’t informed that the dress had already used. 😛 ). I won’t be surprised if the long necklace ( worn with the Cue) was Dia’s input considering she sports that look so much.

This one was a toughie, I wasn’t quite sure who to accord the tag ‘The Bad’ and ‘The Ugly’ to in this ‘Doing Denim’ edition between Soha and Tulip! While Tulip’s bare midriff (a pet peeve of mine) and all too severe shoes (weather-wise) were a turn-off, Soha’s visible (inner-wear) straps and short denims paired with those chunky boots were just as much of a turn off if not more!
Needless to say, Dia gets to wear ‘The Good’ tag in this edition!
