On The Runway

Well, I’ve been all day hoping we would get high-res pics from Sabyasachi featuring Deepika. Alas, can’t wait any more so lets delve into Deepika who opened the show for the designer wearing a monochromatic layered white look completed with black gloves, a black Camellia flower headband and loads of jewellery. Instead of a red lip, her look was completed with a dark brown lip. This look should feel striking but I found the cotton outfit a bit underwhelming. Ms. Turlington was better styled in my opinion.

In Jigyam

Deepika and Ranveer attended a family wedding on Friday evening with Deepika wearing a Jigyam anarkali featuring a a patan patola border and a pink bandhani mochi work embellished dupatta. Her polki necklace with basra pearls and the chand bali earrings were also from Jigyam.

Deepika and Ranveer arrived back in Mumbai on Tuesday post their vacation and Deepika was seen wearing a Sacai striped flared shirt with denims. Like the shirt?

Of Meet and Greets

At a private meeting hosted by Ranveer and Deepika with the paparazzi (possibly to request them to not photograph their daughter), Deepika was seen in a salmon pink maxi from Gauri and Nainika paired with hoop earrings. Signs that you’re a new mom: no bracelets! 😛 (I think it took years to re-start wearing them after having mine!)

Sari Style

Parents to be Ranveer and Deepika visited a temple on Friday morning where mom-to-be was seen in a banarasi sari from Banarasi Baithak. Per the brand, the color and weave motif was recreated using an archival sari that was in tatters and the revived version was picked up by Anaita who gifted it to Deepika.

Best wishes to the parents to be. The first few months post delivery is quite the ride! Don’t know about you but my brains were mush. 😛
