Ms. Saran has been taking great strides and all in the (almost) right direction. Considering how far she has come (from jewel-tone dresses and odd-fitting minis), we’re gonna give her a pass for that unsightly bra-strap because other than that, she looks quite lovely.

P.S. Is it just us who find a shoulder bag being carried as a top handle/tote weird?

Once the temperatures get soaring, out come the maxis. To use the bane of every soccer mom’s fashion vocabulary… they are so “comfy“! 😀 But really, when chosen correctly, maxis can be that perfect antidote to a scorching summer afternoon.

Clearly, Maria agrees. However, I can’t seem to agree with all of her maxi choices. Some yes, not all. Can you guess which?

While I love the dress version of this print, am not digging the maxi version on Namrata much. The fringe detail and the stripes cutting through take away from the resort print. She pairs her maxi with a python Chanel clutch.

At the races, Rhea Kapoor channels a bit of Chanel not by donning black and white but by wearing multi-stranded pearls with a red dress and a black patent frame bag. Red Chanel sandals complete her look. For a day event, the red dress with the pearls is a bit overwhelming to me but it’s a cute look. You like?
