Ms. Mathur rarely ever has a bad run with her saris and this time was no exception either. In her color-clocked Raw Mango sari, side-swept hair and BV clutch, she looked rather nice at the Filmfare Awards held last night. She even makes that sheer-sleeved blouse work, which on anyone else most likely wouldn’t have gotten a pass.

For Sophie, it was a Pankaj and Nidhi printed jacket, one that she wore with black cigarette pants giving the look a very Dior-esque feel.

Finishing out her look was a Yogesh Jasnani bracelet, a Bottega Veneta knot clutch and a pair of Zanotti heels. The bracelet wasn’t quite needed as it really didn’t add much. The jacket itself was the centerpiece.

Nonetheless, she looked great. Love the winged eyeliner.

For the Screen Awards, it was a pink and black Manish Malhotra sari for Sophie worn with gold earrings and a black Bottega Veneta knot clutch.

Coincidentally, she attended the inauguration of Mumbai Airport’s Terminal Two also wearing a Manish Malhotra sari but this one featured an all over print.

Of the two saris, got a favorite look? Even though net saris are not my cup of tea, that was the look I loved more.

Shriya attended Christmas celebrations at Phoenix Mills wearing white Karen Millen dress. By keeping the collar open, some of the charm of the dress was lost. Also not helping were the satin BV and nude shoes. The look just felt so meh.
