At a collection preview at Bandra 190, Bhavana & Krishika both sported printed flared dress with the former in her Tibi one and Krishika in a Clover Canyon.

Of the two, much preferred Bhavana in hers thanks to her simple take on styling the dress. Between the gold Versace pumps and the Versace tote, Krishika’s look just felt too gaudy.

Gauri and Tania both may have sported the vests at the Bandra 190 event but each managed to make the look very different with a few finishing touches. While the former chose a white on white color scheme with a printed vest from her Satya Paul collection, the latter chose a grey paillette vest to go with her black denims.

Between the Chanel brooches and the oversized red Tom Ford clutch, I shouldn’t quite like Tania’s look but I don’t mind it. Maybe because I like Gauri’s look even less. A sleek ponytail and Gauri would’ve won had my vote. As is though, the middle parted hairdo and the smoky eyes felt too heavy duty.

At the Mijwan fashion show, it was an Anamika Khanna for Ms. Chopra, one that she finished out with a Bottega Veneta long clutch, silver earrings and strappy sandals. With the length of the tunic hitting right at the calves, the sandals while cute, weren’t so flattering. Other than the footwear, I’ve got no complaints. she looked great.

P.S. If the look feels familiar, it’s cuz we just saw Sonakshi wear something similar to the LFW finale.

Mini gave us our second sighting of a Mayyur Girotra gown at the Style Awards held last night. Side-swept hair, dark lip and a Bottega Veneta clutch finished out her look. While we like the graphic gown on Mini, the look wasn’t quite all there. Perhaps the limp hair is to be blamed, or the make-up, we can’t quite put our finger on it. The change of pace doesn’t go unnoticed however and for that, props.
