In Raakesh Agarvwal

It’s rare that we love a look from head-to-toe but it happens and Sonakshi’s look from tonight was one. She wore a one shouldered Raakesh Agarvwal dress with gold earrings that played off of the gold fringe detail at the shoulder. Normally, footwear is where a look always becomes a downer for us but not this one. Loved them for being not-too-in-your face.

In Louis Vuitton

Pairing yellow with her coral Loubs again was Malaika Arora in a strapless dress by Louis Vuitton at the Being Human Show. The coral with the yellow was nice but the pumps seemed too formal for this fun dress. (Can’t believe me, the pumps-a-holic, just said that!)

On The Runway. Being Human.

After walking the runway in various designers, the ladies did one more sashay, this time in Being Human tanks. Like any in particular?

Being Human: Through The Decades

For Salman’s charity, ‘Being Human’, the celebrities were out in droves showing their support both on and off the runway.

Each actress walked the runway representing one particular decade, starting right from the Twenties. And speaking of Twenties, it was Preity Zinta who walked in a look from her movie Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. Following which, Katrina did the Thirties in a Gauri and Nainika dress and Rani Mukherjee the Forties in a Manish Malhotra lehenga.

Bipasha walked in a Sunaina Puri dress representing the Fifties and Karisma did the Sixties in a Manish Malhotra sari. Anyone else have a Zubeida flashback looking at Ms. Kapoor? 🙂 Sushmita did the flamboyant Seventies in Raakesh Agarvwal and the Eighties were all Priyanka’s channeling Madonna in a Sunaina Puri design. And finally, it was Kareena Kapoor for the Nineties who walked in Varun Bahl and mapxencaRS to INXS‘s Need You Tonight complete with a hat and whip..

Whew!

A Face Off

This one is going to be a toughie because I love both these ladies and recently both gave us similar looks by way of their side drape dresses. While I loved the color of Chitrangda’s dress more, my vote went to Malaika for both the color and I prefered her full-length version to Chitrangda’s ankle-length.
