Aditi attended the Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) on Wednesday evening wearing a straight off the LFW runway Amit Aggarwal gown. At first glance, I was surprised at why the gown looked so bad and checking the runway pic explained things quite a bit.

Adjusting the hemline to match her height threw off the proportions between the gold and the shiny border quite a bit and camera flashes against the border only compounded the issues.

Having said that though, this definitely was one of those gowns that was better reserved for editorials than to wear in real life. It didn’t do Ms. Hydari any favor.

It wasn’t just Sarah, Pernia had quite the day with multiple changes too. While she wears them all well, between her three looks, I have to say the Nishka Lulla separates were my least favorite and the jumpsuit, the most. The latter (Urvashi Kaur jumpsuit) makes for a tricky silhouette but one that she worked every bit of!

Sporting the brand’s color by way of an Amit Aggarwal gown, Kareena attended an event for Magnum. A ponytail, smokey eyes and glossy lip is all that it took to finish out the look. She worked every bit it; Kareena looked good!

Sonal attended the Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards wearing a strapless Amit Aggarwal gown. Hair worn sideswept, she finished out the look with a red lip and Ferragamo pumps.

While she looked good, the black pumps felt too jarring.
