Daddy dearest (and never-aging) Anil shares the cover of Hello! Nov edition with daughters Sonam and Rhea, all dressed to their festive nines in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Having seen Sonam do a lot of desi looks off late, we are able to take her in this avatar but Rhea, not really.

If you’ve followed Rhea in real life, you know her personal style is nowhere close to this. 🙂 In a way, it did make for quite an interesting change.

Sonam sported a few more desi looks this week for promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with two looks being very ornate and two relatively simple.

Of them all, got a favorite? We loved all the outfits but in the Anuradha Vakil, the way the dupatta was draped, the look felt too costumey. Maybe we are missing the full picture because it looked all she was missing there was a pair of dandiya sticks.

Both Anu and Nita picked Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla suits to wear at a recent event in Mumbai. And of the two, it was easy to pick out the look we preferred more… Ms. Dewan’s! While some suits work sans dupatta, Ms. Ambani’s didn’t quite. Between that and all the sparkle, you can see why we handed our vote to Anu in this match up.

Sticking to the classic, Twinkle wore an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla suit, a name she almost always favors when it comes to Indian-wear. An Alexander McQueen clutch and matching gold-tone wedges were her accessories of choice. Though the look lacks all novelty, there’s no denying Ms. Khanna looked lovely.

Gauri helped unveil the festive collection from Mahesh Notandass jewellery in Mumbai today wearing a white sari by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and jewellery from the brand

I have to admit, I for one, quite liked the look. After the past few appearances in the one-shouldered gowns that were very unflattering, this one made for a very welcome change and was a huge improvement.

I also appreciated the fact that she didn’t go for a bold lip here. The look would’ve veered into the gaudy territory had she done so.

Looks like someone’s been listening. Well, that’s what we here would like to think. 😛
