Latest round of movie promotions had Sonam wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari. Braided hair, matching clutch and jewelry from Jet Gems finished out the actor’s look. The sari may have been understated but the sheer-illusion blouse was anything but. To Sonam’s credit though, the whole effect was more demure and sweet rather than risqué; she looked nice!

If you have no social media accounts, you were one of those that missed all the hullabaloo about Coldplay’s latest video Hymn For The Weekend that was shot in India and features Beyonce and Sonam Kapoor.
While Queen Bey features more prominently in the video wearing an ornate Jani and Khosla gown and jacket, Sonam has more of a blink and you miss it appearance unfortunately.
Back to Beyonce, that gown must have needed a lot of double sided tape! 😛

Newly weds Asin and Rahul had their wedding reception in Mumbai on Saturday evening and unfortunately there was no press allowed outside to photograph the event.
Asin, though shared some pics from the event, and as you can see looked lovely in her Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga and a neckpiece from Rare Heritage by Mehta Emporium.
Rahul kept it simple by picking a classic black bandhgala which let his new bride shine even more.

Wearing a custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari, Sonam attended a ceremony felicitating last year’s kids that won the National Bravery Awards. You’ve probably already noticed that the sari has a twist in the sense that it had another pallu, one that went around the neck like a scarf.
Hair in an updo complete with a tube rose gajra, her sari look was finished out with Amrapali earrings and Apala By Sumit rings.
We don’t have better pics but from what we see here, she pulled off the tricky sari effortlessly.
