In Kotwara
At the launch of a jewellery site, Tabu was seen in a whiteKotwara long anarkali featuring chikan embroidery. Given that it was a jewellery related event, am glad she didn’t overdo on the jewellery. The kundan set worked just right with anarkali.
At first my eyes wanted more color but I think a bold lip would’ve looked garish here. She looked nice as is.

Ladies can’t you see the foundation issue? Her face and neck are completely different from her visible skin!
Oh goodness autocorrect! I meant her face and neck look completely different from the rest of her body from what we can see .
Ugh..white-washed faces are a big turn off. Her hair is covering the neckpiece. Poorly styled.
A darker colored outfit would have highlighted the jewellery better
Yep major make-up fail. She doesn’t even need make-up, let alone the whitewashing.
Her makeup is so off. She looks fully whitewashed!
Makeup issues aside, wish she had worn that dupatta differently… It’s adding too much volume
Make up is off & the jewellery does not go with the outfit at all.
The last several posts of Tabu all have her wearing way too much make up. Does not suit her at all.
I love the outfit. But Tabu should have left the necklace home and used less make-up.
Why do they whitewash themselves? It doesn’t make them look fair in the way they want. It makes them look GRAY and pasty and malnourished like the blood has been sucked out of them.
+100. It is so visible that it is not her original skin tone. So stupid to whitewash like this, no wonder the sale of fairness will always be the top in India.
Totally agree. Wonder why they do it.
White washed skin – whether fair or dusky- looks cakey and so terrible in flashlights.
Surely you jest. She’s so pretty yes yes, but that outfit dupatta that way is way too voluminous, and her makeup is pretty shocking.
