Sonam attended a birthday party her parents threw for poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar and was seen in a feather pant suit from Magda Butrym. I don’t mind the whimsical jacket but the cropped pants pushed this into comical territory. A bummer given how good she looked above the waist.
Looks like after the glove obsession, someone is in a feather one.

that black outfit is what makes me think of sonam as a fashion victim, rather than any trendsetter or fashion goddess. yes, she and her sister pick new designers and names and silhouettes but beyond hair and make-up and accessories, there’s very little judgement on the clothes themselves. can’t see why none of her team would call out the pants as ridiculous.
Her makeup is amazing in the black look. Sonam takes risks more than any other actor which I appreciate. It may look clownish to some but there’s no denying she knows fashion and clearly enjoys it which is the most important.

Both outfits are silly, I rush Sonam would reinvent her style statement with more home brands, lesser known, indie, different because she does have fashion clout, why waste. She dazzles in Indian wear and fusions.
