In Huishan Zhang

At a promotional event for a mothercare brand, Sonam was seen wearing a tweed skirt suit set from Huishan Zhang with Choo pumps and a Mark Cross bag. She looked nice but maybe I would’ve liked her hair in an updo like she did in the second look for this event. Catch it inside.

  1. Why is everybody in Bollywood always to overdressed?! How can a a regular person/mom even relate to these folks. Hopefully it’s a phase.

  2. CH has my heart.Sonam looks great!

Her hair looks a bit limp in the tweed outfit plus maybe she needed better makeup but the dress by itself is nice.

  3. She looks more like a CEO mom.. the outfit is biting and can’t be styled any better, love the blue n white look in comparison , the skirt is big but it’s ok..

  4. The tweed is SO STUFFY. Looks like she’s cosplaying English lady from a century ago. The Row-Herrera look is so much better.

    • You’d need more than tweed in UK outdoors in full winter. Also, that tweed isn’t heavy given there probably was good air conditioning where she attended the event. Don’t worry and enjoy the fashion.

  5. Love the 1st look. So classy but something about the hair doesnt feel right, it looks quite limp here.
The 2nd look is class again but I think a midi length skirt would have looked much better.

  6. Sonam looks lovely. It would be great if the celebs wore more designers who originate from the Global South. Better still, if they are even currently based out of the Global South. Tired of seeing the same western labels everywhere.

    • umm. global south designers don’t have the money or the reach of the same-ol-same-ol. these guys wear what is handed to them/paid for. they don’t go hunting for unspotted talent.

      • Well…its the job of stylists to go hunt I thought. I was just suggesting that they could include this factor in their hunt. I never said it will be easy. I would appreciate someone who tries, like in this case. There are a number of Indian upcoming design labels which are getting sported by actors nowadays. Thats good trend.
