Sonam attended Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event and was also part of a panel session on Wednesday. A Vogue + speaking event of course meant she was going to go all out and she did wearing a couture look from Giambattista Valli’s Spring 2023 collection. Unfortunately, this outfit was one that was better saved for an editorial piece which will be very evident in the IG pics that they will release shortly. In real life though, it did not look good and she looked uncomfortable through out.

Lovely colour and it’s a fun dress but I’m not sure if it’s just right for a fire side chat kind of thing. Looks excessive.

And, you were right! Pictures on her IG speak a different story altogether! Also, all the videos showing how the dress actually looked irl and her being really uncomfortable in it are not there anymore on paparazzis handles.
I am sorry but the pictures you guys picked for Sonam is just wrong. And I am not asking for you guys to pick the instagram stage managed pictures….there are good pictures of the event out there taken by photographers on site. I am baffled why you guys went with the ones here. It looks like screen shots from a 144p resolution video.
Sonam would be a style goddess if she didn’t take herself so seriously.
It has been either these oversized bows structure or elbow high gloves for Sonam for a while now.
I think she takes her “fashion icon” tag too seriously rather than loosening up and just having fun with it.
She is a self proclaimed fashion icon..really don’t see the her looks and the fashion mapping.
At the most she has access to high end and tries it. That’s it !
The outfit is cutting into her tummy, standing up, wonder how it was when she was sitting down!
This dress is exactly like what the back dancers to a hero/heroine wore in the 90’s songs and dances..thinking tezaab and traders here. Plus the fit at the waist is giving her a muffin top.the color is so glaring especially given so much of the fabric
