Sonam partook in Karwa Chauth festivities wearing an Ekaya ensemble with jewels from her own and her mom’s collection. Sonam is a bit of a maximalist at heart so am not surprised at this pick.
The sari sure was pretty and would’ve loved a strapless blouse here but I think it would’ve resembled Amit Aggarwal’s design style too much. She looked nice here.

This is maximalism done well. Unlike Kareena’s outing in Sabya (where some comments accused other commentators of being safe minimalists and thereby not feeling the look!). Indianwear mostly leans towards maximalism but it’s much harder to get right without going into OTT territory.
Definitely maximalism done right! Love this look.
