Sonam attended Bhaane‘s 7th anniversary party on Thursday evening wearing a printed blazer and pleated skirt from the brand with a top handle bag and Bottega Veneta‘s square toe sandals.
Now, the blazer and skirt individually are nice but paired together, they reminded me of the bad 80’s fashion trends. Not the good stuff that has made a revival.

I hate the look and am not a fan of Sonam’s OTT fashion, but….I agree with @Envy. Her makeup looks heavy-handed but not anything like “drag”.

Sonam and Bhaane have both lost the plot. I just don’t get Bhaane’s new offerings — maybe Nimish is designing keeping Sonam and Rhea’s vision in mind. None of the brilliance of his Shift design is seen in the new collection — especially in womenswear.
It’s less Bhaane (whatever their original design philosophy was) and more party girl Sonam and behind the scenes Rhea, both of whom fancy themselves as designers.
Oh! Shift had a design USP? That’s news.
Thanks to the shoes, they make the rest of her look good.
I didnt like the blazer or the skirt. May be worn with plain colors they both stood a chance.
Not one thing is nice here…makeup to the shoes!! Btw, that exact skirt (in a slightly lighter shade of yellow) was available in Target last year…a friend wore it for thanksgiving dinner and I have photos to prove it 😀
This skirt has been done by literally every brand from Zara to H&M to Topshop.

Maybe in the minority here but I do give her props for this look. It is not entirely ghastly as some of her recent appearances, yet it is still edgy and not completely safe. I would have maybe done the make up a less severe and worn pumps or something.
