Sari Style
Sonam celebrated Karwa Chauth with her family wearing a silver metallic Anavila sari with a pink blouse. I don’t know if it is the blouse, the overuse of blush or that maang tikka but this is the first time, I actually have not liked an Anavila sighting. Did you like?

Bad make up and i’ll fitting blouse ruin it
It’s all of the above. This look is a mess, and that’s before you take into account the blinding metallic sheen of the sari.
Exactly my thoughts. Something doesnt gel with this look.
it is horrible
the blouse does so much disservice to the look
I think it’s the awful blouse that one handedly kills joy ;)) what a terrible idea to pair the saree with that monstrosity of a blouse!
The shiny crinkly fabric, uneven make up and slim maang tikka are all working against this look.
She needs new haircut for sure
For me it’s the fitting of the blouse. Saree itself is quite beautiful actually.
That saree needed a different blouse to highlight the border work!
Her make up is grey pink n ashy, saree blouse is not good fit, I think such Sheeny saree fabric needs very muted blouses or then plain black.
let’s not blame everything else when the saree itself isn’t great. The rest of the stuff you added make it worse.
The border of the sari is lovely.
the fabric of the saree is such a downer. i know shine = festivity but they didn’t really need to ruin linen like this.
The stuffy blouse and the over metallic sheen and the excessive make up have created a mess. Make the blouse a deep V, the saree a muted metallic and tone down the makeup and you can visualise how good it would have looked.
Can I tell you exactly what happened here?
She styled herself and did her own makeup , hair and jewellery. She is most likely sonam minus the team of stylist, makeup and hair artists.
the blouse is obviously the culprit here ruining a potentially nice look
however, also dont like th hair – a bun would have looked more graceful
and theres the make up which is clearly not working
The saree, the blouse, the makeup, the hairstyle, that potli, all of the above is to blame.
