Wearing a gharchola sari the seedha palla way, Sonam attended a friend’s wedding reception on Sunday evening. She looked sweet but I also did feel like she was gonna suddenly start the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo hook step. No one else scarred by the incessant dancing by everyone in the industry of that hook step? Just me?

Seriously, these days everyone takes things so personally! I am glad I am not a blogger, how do you write your opinions while not allowed to be opinionated! One way or another, someone will always take offense. I remember how Priyanka used to get attacked for not adding her opinion on outfits and just asking whether we like it or not. And when Payal does express herself candidly,she is attacked too.. its hard to please everyone!
One of the more tasteful wedding looks I have seen on these pages. Sonam does have a great personal style and taste unlike most bollywood actresses. Your comment about the hook step is funny!

So is looking lovely! In our culture, Gharchola sari is given to bride from in laws at the time of wedding which the bride wears it with her panetar(wedding lehenga).

As a gujrati I really appreciate her wearing this traditional saree and drape. I think it is super appropriate.
