In Torani

Wearing an ivory sari from Torani, Sobhita attended promotions for her upcoming web series in Delhi. A beaded white potli and white jootis finished out her look. Did you like the head to toe white look? I sure did.

  1. Ok, so I am going to be panned like hell, but what the hell! As much as I love women for draping sarees and ignore their going wrong with draping, blouses, etc, I just cannot see past the sloppy drapes, sports bra for blouses on people who pay to get styled for their formal/professional and even sometimes their personal appearances. What is this drape? What is this blouse? How difficult is it to differentiate between a formal and a casual appearance and drape accordingly? Why a sleeveless blouse ends up being an inner wear these days than being a stylish, well cut outerwear for a blouse? Drape and embrace saree in anyway you wish to. From kashta to nivi to dhoti, drape it as you like. But don’t create a confused, distasteful khichdi. It does no justice to the attire or to the wearer.

    • breathe, lady! are you even seeing the same pic the rest of us are? of all the saree pix you could’ve chosen to vent on, this’d probably be the least justified. there’s nothing sloppy about this drape, nor is the blouse sports-bra like. this is a stylish drape that disrespects neither the saree nor the wearer.

  2. The sari maybe lovely, but idk why, I don’t like it on her. Or maybe the styling kind of ages her, cause we
sure have seen how lux her styling can be

  3. Those earrings and necklace don’t go with the saree . This look isn’t making any impact though the saree in itself is quite pretty. Am so tired of seeing this kind of blouse….it doesn’t look elegant at all.
