Sobhita was seen in a gold tissue sari and blouse from Masaba at an awards event on Sunday evening. With all that gold in the sari and blouse, adding that necklace and earrings didn’t really do much for the look nor did the flower headpiece here. But, my bigger issue was the drape and the way the sari pooled. Did you like?

Its quite an ugly saree ( I am quite shocked its a Masaba) and the Christmas wreath that looks like a saintly halo as a headpiece is the last nail on coffin. The saree pooling feels like in protest…

It’s just lazy styling . Bad saree , drape and accessories . Only the makeup works

Seriously, the tissue saree has been done to death. There’s nothing new you can say in six yards of zari in gold/silver/copper/brass/aluminium/tinfoil… How can any self-respecting designer stick their name to plain yardage?
Ok, other pix in different light pick out motifs in the tissue, so it’s not plain yardage — but why not go for authentic Chanderis if you just *have* to have this aesthetic? Why reinvent the wheel?

The bigger issue here IMHO is the huge flower headpiece and the ugly saree.
Both do nothing for her. Masaba team needs to change gears on the “fashion’ that they roll out. Most pieces are just bad

I like it too. It’s eccentric but this works on Sobhita. The saree itself may not be novel but the blouse and the styling are. Whether to smile or not is her choice, and women do not have to be perpetually agreeable. Sobhita is channeling the feminine mystique!

Her outfits looks great on insta only mostly.I dont get the hype around her. Yes her personality is amazing but every time i see her making these really stoned expression i get cringy feeling.
