Of Gowns
Shweta attended the Elle Sustainability awards wearing a gown created using a red Benarasi sari featuring a dramatic back bow. The gown sure was striking but on closer inspection had issues with tailoring especially at the waist. What did you think?

Love the attempt. Yeah the fit could have been better but still pretty good. The only thing she could change where those sandals with slinky gold colour ones…
Isn’t this Nushrat ?
Nop.
Too many things.. a saree like gown material, a wide neck, a bra back n a tie bow. Idk could’ve been interesting.
Nice color and fabric . The design and tailoring don’t don’t do justice to the color and fabric
The geisha designs don’t look good on her.
Could have been a great look but it isn’t executed well. This feels like an attempt by a small neighborhood tailor to create a high end look.
She looks quite nice and the fit, I thought was all right.
But I reeeeeally hope they do mean it when they say sustainability and that this is a used vintage saree. Its quite a gorgeous saree and it wud be a shame if they chopped and sewed up a new saree and braded it Sustainerwear…
The bow doesn’t go with the fabric.
This is a ‘lol’. Sorry.
Nice on paper. Executed shoddily. Wish the footwear, makeup, and bust design were different.
Wow!! Such a yummy color and fabric!!
