Shriya attended an awards event on Saturday evening wearing a pantsuit from Verb By Pallavi Singhee. I am a sucker for a nicely done suit so was won over instantly. She looked good.

It’s a nice pantsuit if it’s satin and not velvet. I wish the pants were a bit less flared at the bottom.
Also, I feel that someone like Deepika would have elevated this outfit.
To say someone else would elevate an outfit currently worn by someone is very disrespectful.

Nothing wrong with saying DP would also look good in this suit, but to blatantly state DP would elevate this basically erases SP look and effort. Do better next time, yaar…
Honey, not everything revolves around Deepika. This looks more like a PR stunt. Give credit where credit is due! Accept the fact there are other women like Shriya worth admiring. There are other well established women like Aishwarya, Priyanka,Katrina, Kareena, Anushka & Alia who still looks phenomenal in what they wear and the way they carry themselves. They don’t go about bringing other women down.

Furthermore, I have worked to recruit women in positions where many would have been reluctant to do so in the early 2010s, so just because I posted a single internet remark comparing two celebrities does not suggest that I intentionally denigrate women.
I stand by what I said. It’s not about putting women down – HHC writes about female fashion (barring a few months many years back) so those are the only comparisons you see.

Classy, elegant, so gorgeous and that color. LOVED the styling on Shriya.
Shriya is one of the few folks who constantly experiment with their looks and keep things interesting from a fashion POV. Alas this can’t be said for most younger actresses
I do look forward to her outings. That said she looks great in this suit
