Admit it or not but Alia did begin a flurry of red carpet suiting! Now almost every week we have a sighting of an actress with a flare pants suit and short wavy hair!
Alia owned this one.
As for this look, ugh. The suit is not well fitted and just super dull.
Where is the originality?
Let’s give credit where credit is due but Alia did NOT start the trend. Deepika was sporting similar looks before Alia and I wouldn’t give her the credit as the original one either. This has been done in West by celebs and influencers alike for the past few years if we’re going to question originality. Trends by definition aren’t original and point to a general popularity of something.
Coming back to this look, I think her hair pulled away from her face would’ve been better.
Yes a pantsuit is not invented by Alia nor Deepika. Agreed.
But Alia did very recently start sporting them and suddenly we have a lot of similar looks from the likes of Shraddha, and Kriti etc.
that’s all I am saying here.
Nope, nothing about Alia’s style is original -pantsuit, sarees or oversized jeans. It’s like she aspires to be someone else, every style aesthetic borrowed from another popular actress
The look, head to toe, suit color, fit, hair, makeup the whole 9 yards is super flat and absolutely Blah.
