Shilpa attended an event hosted by a photographers/media foundation and was seen wearing a red kurta suit from Vaayu. The kurta suit was nice and she looked lovely but those chunky coiled calf length sandals was an odd choice to pair the suit with.

She does have a gift of ruining looks! I fight that bag ugly too, actually never liked these bags to begin with.
What an ugly footwear!
The footwear is ugly. There is no other way to put it. Reminds me of coiled serpent neck and arm accessories that dancers use to play Lord Shiva in mythological dance dramas in Indian Classical Dances.
I think the sandals are cool actually, and an interesting idea given the new culotte trend. What I would have dispensed with are the bag and the earrings. And had a solid color set instead of all the embroidery. Well on second thought, I guess only the sandals are cool!
