At her own Diwali party, Shilpa was seen in a vest and skirt lehenga from Manish Malhotra. I have to admit at first glance, I quite liked this cuz it was a departure from the regular fare. I, do however wish, that skirt didn’t have that antiriya type gathering in the middle. Would’ve looked way more cleaner and chicer without it.

Also manish Malhotra has some amazing luck to have lasted in Bollywood inspite of churning out disaster after disaster.

This is so terrible, tacky and low-effort that it beats me as to why Manish Malhotra would even want his name associated with it.
If you believe MM is some classy sophisticated designer then yes!! SMH!!
His designs are worse than what you can find in Tier 4 Tier 5 cities in India!

It’s terrible. Red velvet apsara dress with garish gold embroidery. It’s straight up Shilpa’s alley but can’t believe fashion bloggers liking it.

Shilpa looks lovely!! The color is rich and gives a festive vibe. Compared to some previous outings this fares much better.
red velvet much ! would have been better with a regular cut blouse/choli or whatever and a regular lehnga instead of the gatherings. this is too unsleek and unchic!
Oh, no! Shiny red velvet is for curtains and upholstery… or historical drama movie sets.

Color is lovely , design and outfit not so much ..
