Taping of a latest episode of a reality dance show that she serves as a judge for saw Ms. Shetty in a stitched sari set from Itrh featuring the label’s signature rhinestones in addition to egyptian hieroglyph pattern. This look was a bit to jhatak for my taste.

P.S. This was the Geeta look. Catch her Seeta look inside in a Rajputi lehenga inside.

  1. Both looks are all sorts of cringe worthy awful

Seeta and Geeta reads demure and tomboy. Only Shilpa in her awful sartorial (non)sense can interpret this beloved classic into tacky (read loud vulgar) and ekta kapoor soapstar bahu.. I want to unsee and Hema Malini (and dear Chaalbaaz Sridevi) shud sue her and her stylist

    • the peach outfit is a very demure attire worn by rajput married women (only), there is no scope for any skin show. Its a standard 3-piece dress in which an odhna is draped to cover the head and at times the face as well in the form of a ghunghat. she has draped it fairly well.

  2. The poshak is nice though not meant to be worn with open hair. The other whatever-that-is is just Ms. Shetty on repeat, she just forgot to rinse. Give this woman a well-tailored knee-length pencil skirt and an intelligent, basic top. We will see her fab figure very well which is all she and her stylist want anyway. Aise sabki tabiyat kyun kharaab karni hai.

  3. Why is it so hard to see people wearing sarees now? The entire modesty around this garment – which is the pride of India seems to have been lost. I am not regressive, but saree seems to have lost its cultural significance.

  4. Was this supposed to be a take on Seeta aur Geeta or your interpretation Payal?

I like that Shilpa always seems to have fun…that’s what matters finally:)
