Shilpa was felicitated with an award this past weekend in UK which she accepted wearing the most gorgeous green sari by Amit Aggarwal. I would’ve thought the metallic tape pallu would be difficult to drape but she sure wore it like a dream.

To call this sari gorgeous would be an understatement. Its mindblowingly stunning. So contemporary yet so organic just like a Zaha Hadid architecture. Kudos to Shilpa for always trying out new saris and pushing the envelope. She has the aura, elegance and poise to carry off any sari with elan. Noone thougjt a green sari could look this good and magestic. I saw this on ig and everyonewas drooling over this sari.
I think Sonam wore the same saree some time back. Her one was violet?

Wish the same echelon was matched in all the events, Cannes, IIFA etc etc..So elated to see her donning her a sari instead of the most obvious choice of a gown. Sari was, is and will always be there as evergreen as ever. In this case the loveliest sparkly green 🙂

Exactly. There is a classy and the there is tacky way. This experimental sari so classy compared to the tacky shredded jeans sari which still gives me nightmares.
