Wearing an Abhishek Sharma sari and pearl string blouse, Shilpa attended an tourism promotional event on Tuesday evening. The sari and blouse ain’t my cup of tea but they were not the issue here. It was the overkill of pearls by way of the haathphool and maang tikka that made this look so very comical. The artificial/wig-ish looking hair do didn’t help either.

Not that I like the outfit itself, but how Shilpa adds her own healthy dose of tackiness and makes things worse can be seen with how much better the outfit looks on the model. Shilpa looks like an apsara whose make up & hair artist hates her.
Remove the wig and the haathphool ,this is still bearable and has Shilpa Shetty written all over it . I am surprised how no one in her team noticed the silly looking wig . It looks like she’s part of some parody where she is playing herself
Whats with Ms Shetty and Neha both wearing Apsara type clothes straight from the 80s sets.
What event was this anyway that required this type of dressing?

I love that in the age of cookie cutter Shilpa dows her own thing. P&P plz don’t censor this coz I mean it in the heartiest way. There is a certain 90s Aunty? tackiness to her and Madhuri’s fashion that gives away the time of their youth when there was no corporate machinery dictating souless assembly line looks. I love it! It immediately humanises them and reduces alienation.
This looks ghastly sure. But I opened the post and I’m commenting like so many others who bothered to. As opposed to an Ananya, Janvi or Rakul who elicit a compelte scroll past, I don’t even hover over their pics for a second.
