Shefali is in NYC for the International Emmy Awards for her work in Delhi Crimes and was seen at the events in an Ekaya lehenga and a JJ Valaya printed long anarkali. Loved her in the Ekaya. The Valaya needed a different hairdo, me thinks.

Neither actually. She would have rocked a saree .
Neither.. the proportions are off in the Ekaya.. she needed to wear the lehenga higher up on her waist. The Valaya on the other hand gets the proportions right but feels too busy (add to that something about her makeup is off.. not sure if it’s because of the shadows but the contour looks more like tiger stripes!)
I think she is wearing the skirt high on the waist but that skirt has a brown band which is blending with her shirt colour giving off an illusion the skirts been worn lower. Not a good design.
Loving the the ekaya yellow skirt . It looks great.
The skirt is too low and not a good match with the shirt, looks funny. Her styling is not usually impactful.
