BFFs Shanaya and Ananya sported saris at the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with the former doing all-white in a Manish Malhotra and the latter wearing an Arpita Mehta. This was a very high-profile event and when that is the case, most folks don’t care for dress code or event appropriateness. It is all about standing out. Shanaya had her drape right but that blouse was better reserved for Diwali. Ananya fared better in the top department and had on quite the delish neckpiece but once you saw that drape from the back, it was hard to like.

Terrible tops, they look so bad with sarees. Other than that both ladies look beautiful in their saree looks.
Yikes both look terribly and out of place. and come off looking ridiculous. Shanaya’s home pooja outing in her beige outfit with yellow flowers on teh dupatta looked SO much nicer, pity she didnt go with that for this party in place of the awful saree and blouse that ages her

I saw Ananya in a video! The saree looked badly draped from behind. She couldn’t walk properly; was dragging her feet. I am sure the draping was done a certain way to enhance her figure but it was event inappropriate! They get plenty of opportunities to show off their sexiness.
I found this type of dressing quite distasteful personally. It’s Ganesh Chaturthi and this is so inappropriate 🙁
Why are these two always posted together? =)) That aside, both the looks are subpar. Ananya’s saree is particularly awful and skimpy blouses in both the looks are an eyesore.

how is shanaya’s drape any better?
These looks are great for weddings, receptions, award ceremonies and other parties.
But a religious event is not the place to look sexy.
Shanaya is wearing a see through saree..
Even if she hadn’t draped the one boob drape we would have still seen her blouse well enough .. however horrendous it may be.
If i hadn’t seen Ananya from the back this was a decent enough look.. the full length of the sleeves helps negate the tininess of the blouse .. the saree/front drape may not be apt for Ganpati festivities but when have younger BW girls been event appropriate ever?
wow, this is what Shanaya choose for ganesh chathurthi? like how is it it fair for any class of the society to completely eradicate the essence of these festivals. It is one thing if you don’t believe in something and avoid it. But this is a whole new level of disrespecting the roots of the festival.

I am so so clueless that I did not even realise they are friends I just thought both are sisters – Panday sisters is what I think of them as. WOWZA im out of it. Also I never thought I would say this but Sonam was more event appropriate than these two and I have never been more grateful for the likes of Deepika, Sara, Anushka. Atleast they understood the dress code.
