At the trailer launch of her movie, Shalini was seen in a strapless sequin mini from Genny paired with clear ankle-strap Louboutin sandals. While she wore the dress well and looked good overall, the look wasn’t really a stand out. Perhaps, a different color would’ve made more of an impression?

there’s nothing to the design of such dresses. they’re basically meant to capitalize on — and showcase –young, toned bodies: so, lots of glitter to reflect camera lights, short lengths to show off legs, attention-grabbing necklines. as someone said on the last Kiara post, these outfits are crafted for PR wins. the person is incidental — literally anyone could be wearing them and our reactions would be the same.
I remember seeing the trailer of the film and thinking “the lead actress looks cute”. I couldn’t even recognize in these photos that she was the same person. She does look uncomfortable, in these pics at least
Goodness. She looks like a cross between Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt.
To me, she resemble Radhika Madan. She was in movie Arjun Reddy.
What is wrong with lead actresses these days. Kiara, Kriti, Deepika, Tara and now Shalini Pandey as well……back to back sightings. Same ol uncomfortably short tight minis with plenty of low cut, almost like a gaming show character, except that it begs for some character.
Why is there such a silly attempt to display themselves as barely clad barbies, looks so tacky, desperate and begs for some originality or personality to peep through. This looks all sorts of bad from every angle and I shudder thinking of how many Ooooops moments need to be averted or post -managed…
RIDICULOUS sighting(s) and nope… that’s not the prude in me, but am just stating the obvious.
If the intent was to make an impact, it is not a good one.
She would have looked nice if her posing and expressions were not screaming uncomfortable. The dress needed a different pair of shoes.
