Shahana, Nandita, Adil and his wife Kristen attended the 27th Busan International Film Festival opening ceremony on Wednesday evening. All the ladies were spotted in saris with Shahana in an embroidered one, Nandita in a metallic Anavila and Kristen in a cobalt blue Jamdani. Adil was seen in a Rajesh Pratap Singh sherwani which coordinate with his wife’s sari.

They all looked great! A few more pics courtesy of Nandita’s IG are inside.

  1. Beautiful sarees, badly worn.

    Shahanas pleats are going sideways.
Nanditas pallu looks unkempt. A single safety pin would have done the job.

Loved Kristen’s saree, but didn’t understand the choice of jewellery. The gunpowder grey is too dark against the reflective silver in the saree. Or maybe it looks so coz of tons of bright lights. She looks fabbb though.

  2. Adil can give run for money. Look how poised and confident he looks with just simply being there. Unlike the lot who thinks making a smug face with ott hair puff/spike will make them look cool. You rock, adil.

  3. love them all! *this* is what you do when you take your art to an international platform: you showcase your country, you showcase its craft, you showcase your pride in its nameless artisans and known designers. fabulous.

  4. Love the blue saree….
As for Suhana and Nandita they look good too but considering this is an international event and you’re showcasing not just your film but also your country; i guess some more effort could’ve been made!

    • Is it not enough that they make a good film? Filmmakers and actors are there for their craft first. Not everyone needs to be a clotheshorse or a body to put on clothes to represent anyone but themselves.

      • If we were never to critique their clothes and only their films, this site would never exist! You too came here to read and speak about clothes and makeup and jewellery etc…
So, my personal opinion… not everyone who watches them at Busan and on the web / TV is going to see their movie, and we cannot even assume all movies are going to be good, so yeah this is also a great opportunity to also showcase your industry and country on the world stage!

So organic and effective at the same time.
Do these three have a movie coming out? Does anyone know? Love them in movies too – wouldn’t want to miss out!
