Shahana attended the IIFA Awards wearing a strapless gown from Esha Thirani and while I loved all the finishing touches, the gown itself with that sheer midriff and thigh-high slit was not one that I was loving (read: hated).

the need to be a seductress is so dominant in Bollywood- women have moved on from that template even in cinema.
Why do women do this to themselves repeatedly? This is not hot. It is awful.
I actually wanted to hate it, but once past the shock value as its very different from her usual choices, I have to admit she looks pretty darn fierce and pulls it off much better than some others would. I think its okay to experiment and and she comes off great.
Why? why? why? Esha Thirani should step down as a designer and Shahana’s stylist should be fired. How can they conspire to do this to her and of course where is her common sense? Unfathomable!!
