Sari Style
Sayani attended the opening ceremony of the IView Film Festival in Delhi a few weeks ago wearing a green Benarasi Coloroso sari with a choker from Tvisha Jewlz. While I love that she chose to wear a handwoven sari, can’t say that I loved that v-neck full sleeve top that she paired the sari with.
Overall though, she did look nice. What did you think?

That velvet blouse definitely killed the look.
The saree is beautiful. The blouse doesn’t work. It’s too heavy and the full sleeves is not working. Makes the look feel imbalanced.
This looks all sorts of terrible. Very oversized boxy blouse that utterly ruins the lovely sarer. And then the awful drape.. Sigh
She looks gorgeous..
On closer inspection, the ends of the sleeves look cheap, but nonetheless she looks lovely to me.
Even though her sarees are always gorgeous, her drapes are always sloppy and the pallu always unkempt.
Pull up the saree a bit to give a good drape n love this look too.
I don’t mind velvet blouse especially right now in Delhi winter.. Just that the shade of green could have been darker to match with the shade of sari better..
Gorgeous saree! The blouse could have been better but she’s looking lovely nonetheless. And thumbs up for reducing the oily look
She looks ok. Nothing wrong except for the drape. But then this is Bollywood and this is how they drape their saris.
Such beautiful saree and such terrible blouse and drape.
Ill fitted blouse 🙁 such a downer
Majority of the looks by Indian celebs outfits look too contrived, too artificial, too staged. They need to stop overthinking.. its just normal outfits…saree/ salwar/skirts/ trousers or whatever…
I get they try to go for creative & novel combinations but you need skill to carry that off…there’s no point when everything either looks mismatched or ridiculous!
Untidy and sloppy.. nah!
