Taapsee attended Vikram Phadnis‘s show celebrating his 35 years in business wearing a sari from the designer with jewellery from Jewels By Queenie. Between that emerald, the belt and the gloves, there were too many things competing for attention.
Wasn’t loving this outing.

Uggh…every single time I grimace at her choice of outfits. So loud and in your face with one too many things going on. After almost 2 decades one would hope Ms Pannu would get it right.

Ummm…. That’s not how she looked in the videos. I thought it was a striking look. May be emerald is an overkill but otherwise she looked great. Its giving Balmain in my opinion.
i like the idea of fusion wear but the designer and wearer need to be discerning to figure out when its too much. glove, belt dont go with this sheer saree at all.
The designer has been in the industry for 35 years and yet his designs worn by the attendees range from ouch to meh.
Honestly, this gave me a headache!
The saree maybe nicer without the tube and witchy styling.

Too many elements. Totally over accesorized. Ditch the gloves and swap to a.more delicate necklace and we might have a winner.
